Fargo set in the Thousand Islands.
Crave’s new crime drama Underbelly, starring Arrow’s Stephen Amell and Transplant’s Hamza Haq, starts filming in Toronto and in Gananoque, the Canadian gateway to the Thousand Islands in the St. Lawrence River.
Underbelly is a darkly-twisted comedy of errors, a deadly-violent crime-drama about good people who do bad things and bad people who do worse things. Think Fargo set in the Thousand Islands. The plot revolves around cops and bad guys in the hotbed of crime that is the Thousand Islands- although we are never quite sure who are the bad guys.
Stephen Amell wrapped a shoot in July in Sydney, Nova Scotia on Andy Hines’s Little Lorraine, about a cocaine smuggling operation hidden in funeral homes.
