Connie Britton is headed to Vancouver this December to star in the Hulu pilot for coming-of-age comedy mystery Phony from producer Drew Goddard.
Phony follows Sonny, a popular high school kid, who wakes up after a strange car accident and discovers his Mom (Connie Britton) has been replaced by an impostor.
Britton will play Sonny’s single Mom Ellen and the principal of his high school.
Phony’s tone is described as Freaks and Geeks trapped in The Twilight Zone.
