Courtney B. Vance is the new Greek God Zeus in season 2 of Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, filming in Vancouver.
He replaces the great Lance Reddick in the role, after the actor’s unexpected death in March 2023, after production wrapped on season one.

In season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Percy (Walker Scobell) returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is changing, he learns he has a cyclops half-brother named Tyson (Daniel Diemer), Grover (Aryan Simhadri) has gone missing, and the camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him into the deadly Sea of Monsters to retrieve the Golden Fleece that will save Thalia’s tree, which protects the borders of the camp.

Camp Half-Blood, the summer camp where young demigods train to combat monsters, is no longer safe in season 2.
Thalia’s tree, which protected the camp, has been poisoned, allowing monsters to cross the border.
The Dining Hall Pavilion on the main Camp Half-Blood set in Langley/Aldergrove for season 2.
