Season 3 of family time-twister The Way Home, starring Chyler Leigh, Andie MacDowell and Sadie Laflamme-Snow, will premiere on Hallmark’s new streaming channel this January and on the main cable channel next Fall.
Production on season 3 wrapped in Ontario earlier this month.
Divorced journalist Kat Landry (Chyler Leigh) and her teen daughter Alice (Sadie Laflamme-Snow) return home to Port Haven, New Brunswick, to live with Kat’s estranged mother Del (Andie Macdowell) on the family farm with a mysterious time-travelling pond.
In season 2, Kat searched for her younger brother Jacob who west missing as a boy after he fell into the pond and was transported into the distant past. She found him a grown man in 1814 Port Haven and in the season finale adult Jacob ((Spencer Macoherson) came home.
This scene ended before adult Jacob went into the house to reunite with his mother Del. Instead, we saw someone else has been time-travelling — Kat and Jacob’s father Colton (Jefferson Brown) and the final scene is of him as a boy finding out about the pond.
