Girls go (more) feral in season 3 of BC-filmed Yellowjackets which premieres next Valentine’s Day on Paramount+.
Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash and forced to go feral to survive.
Season 3 wrapped production in Vancouver last month.

Three-and-a-half weeks before the wrap, Melanie Lynskey aka adult survivor Shauna hosted a “very fun nearly-the-end-of-the-season dinner’ for the cast.

Longer synopsis:
Yellowjackets is the saga of a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the (un)lucky survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness. The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to savage clans, while also tracking the lives they’ve attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.

Yellowjackets season 3 was spotted in mid-May on the grounds of Panther Paintball in Surrey —the new wilderness camp for the stranded teens.
It looked warmer:. Sophie Thatcher aka teen Natalie, the new Antler Queen, and Jasmin Savoy Brown aka teen Taissa on set in Vancouver.
Fans met Sami Hanratty visiting the adult survivors cast on a downtown Vancouver set.
Simone Kessell’s adult Lottie on set in Downtown Vancouver with episode director Jennifer Morrison.
Where did we leave Yellowjackets at the end of season 2?
Season 2 of the twice Emmy-nominated cult hit ended with the teen survivors in 1996 without shelter in the winter wilderness and the adult survivors in 2021 mourning the death of one of their own in a ritualistic hunt gone wrong.
Teen survivors in the Wilderness in 1996:
At least the Wilderness chose a new Antler Queen to lead them: teen Natalie (Sophie Thatcher) who survived the group’s first ritualistic hunt by letting someone else die in her place.
Adult survivors at Lottie’s Compound in 2021:
The adult survivors reenacted a ritualistic hunt from the wilderness at Lottie’s compound Camp Green Pine with tragic results.
Adult Natalie (Juliette Lewis) died — to save someone else’s life.
