Season 2 of Netflix’s THE VINCE STAPLES SHOW To Shoot in Vancouver

Rapper turned actor and producer Vince Staples is coming to Vancouver next year to shoot season 2 of his Netflix series The Vince Staples Show.

Kind of famous and sort of rich, rapper and actor Vince Staples navigates the challenges and surprises of everyday life in his hometown of The Beach.

Created by Vince Staples and executive-produced by Kenya Barris, the show follows a version of Vince Staples on his daily adventures, where anything can go wrong and usually does.

In season one, Staples ended up in jail for speeding; got a good deal on a business loan during a bank robbery; had a family fight over Mac & Cheese; met a menacing mascot at a theme park; and ran into an old enemy in The Beach.

As Staples told Tudum:

There are 365 days in a year, so we’re able to have 365 episodes of this thing because they’re all based on what it’s like to just exist day-to-day.

Season one dropped on Netflix back in February and Staples has released a new album Dark Times since.
