BC-Filmed WHEN CALLS THE HEART With Erin Krakow Enjoys 1920s in Season 12

Flappers & jazz & radio.

Hallmark’s long-running period series about school teacher Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) and the town of Hope Vally enjoys the roaring 1920s in season 12, which premieres tonight on the Hallmark Channel in the U.S.

Elizabeth and Kevin McGarry’s Mountie Nathan Grant are officially a couple.

Well, we spend a lot more time together this season, and I think you get to see some real romantic moments between us, as well as some really heartfelt co-parenting in this blended family. Those scenes are some of my favorites. — Erin Krakow.

The new season also brings a special guest star: Melissa Gilbert, who broke out as a child actor on Little House on the Prairie fifty years ago, plays Georgie McGill — someone who “shares a surprising past with one special Hope Valley resident.”
