The latest Wonderland spinoff to the musical Descendants movies, about the teenage children of iconic Disney villains, is filming in Vancouver this Spring.
The first three Descendants movies starred Sofia Carson as Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen; Dove Cameron as Mal, daughter of Maleficent; the late Cameron Boyce as Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; , and Booboo Stewart as Jay, son of Jafar.
Kennie Ortega directed all three, which filmed in various Vancouver locations and in Victoria as the Kingdom of Auradon.
Production then moved to Georgia, USA for the first spinoff — Descendants 4: The Rise of Red, which saw Red (Kylie Cantrall) team up with Chloe (Malia Baker), the daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming, to travel back in time to prevent a catastrophic event.
In Descendants 5 an unexpected villain attempts to harness the magic of Wonderland for their own gain when Wonderland plays host to Auradons Kingdom Cup games. Red and Chloe must fight the villain to save Wonderland while grappling with the consequences of changing the past.
