Season 5 just got a bit more supernatural.
There’s an epic Supernatural reunion — Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and Misha Collins — coming in the fifth and final season of The Boys, filming in Toronto.
The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke famously created the long-running Vancouver-filmed Supernatural series ,with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as demon-hunting brothers Dean and Sam Winchester and Misha Collins as angel Castiel.
Season 3 of The Boys brought Jensen Ackles into Kripke’s effed-up superheroes universe as Soldier Boy.
Jared Padalecki revealed last year he’d been asked to guest-star in The Boys final season but Misha Collins’s guest appearance is a surprise..
They’ll join other Supernatural alums like Jim Beaver, Rob Benedict, Christian Keys and Jeffrey Dean Morgan who’ve played roles on The Boys.
Production on season 5 is underway in Toronto.
