PERCY JACKSON Series With Walker Scobell Renewed for Season 3 in Vancouver

Thank you, demigods worldwide! — Rick Riordan.

Disney+’s Percy Jackson and the Olympians starring Walker Scobell is renewed for season 3 of filming in Vancouver, based on an adaption of Rick Riordan’s third book The Titan’s Curse.

The author says season 3 will bring fan favourites like the Hunters of Artemis and Hades’s children Nico and Bianco di Angelo, to the screen for the first time.

When the goddess Artemis goes missing, she is believed to have been kidnapped. And now it’s up to Percy and his friends to find out what happened. Who is powerful enough to kidnap a goddess? They must find Artemis before the winter solstice, when her influence on the Olympian Council could swing an important vote on the war with the Titans. Not only that, but first Percy will have to solve the mystery of a rare monster that Artemis was hunting when she disappeared — a monster rumoured to be so powerful it could destroy Olympus forever.

Season 2 , adapted from Rick Riordan’s second book The Sea of Monsters, will premiere later this year.

In season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Percy (Walker Scobell) returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) is changing, he learns he has a cyclops half-brother named Tyson (Daniel Diemer), Grover (Aryan Simhadri) has gone missing, and the camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him into the deadly Sea of Monsters to retrieve the Golden Fleece that will save Thalia’s tree, which protects the borders of the camp.
