BC-Filmed YELLOWJACKETS = Streaming Hit. Season 3 Makes Nielsen’s Top 10

Three seasons in, Yellowjackets has become a streaming hit as well as a cable TV hit.

Yellowjackets is about a group of survivors from a girls’ high-school soccer team who 25 years ago were stranded deep in the Canadian wilderness after a plane crash and went feral to stay alive.

The season 3 premiere and episode 2 dropped February 14th on Paramount+, followed by episode 3 on February 21st, pushing Yellowjackets to #1`0 on Nielsen’s Overall Top 10 Streaming chart in the U.S., for the week of February 17th to February 23rd.

Once upon a time a bunch of girls got stranded in the wilderness. They hunted their friends, feasted on their flesh and they went completely nuts.

Season 2 ended with the Yellowjackets cabin shelter burned to the ground in the Wilderness. Season 3 opens months later in a new Wilderness camp with teepees.

As summer arrives, the Yellowjackets face a fragile victory — the brutal winter that nearly claimed them is finally behind them, but distrust in leadership and tension within the team jeopardize their chances of being rescued. In the present, long-buried secrets from their pasts begin to surface. As the women fight to keep their lives from unraveling, they must confront a chilling question: who are they really, and what dark truths are they hiding from each other and themselves?
