JFK thriller November 1963, which looks at the Chicago mob’s alleged involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, is filming in Winnipeg this Spring.
November 1963 draws directly from first-hand accounts by Sam Giancana’s crime family, the Chicago Outfit.
Sam Giancana’s nephew Nicki Celozzia wrote the script and is producing the film. Sam’s daughter Bonnie Giancana is an executive producer.
The cast:
John Travolta will play Johnny Roselli, the Chicago Outfit’s man on the West Coast and Vegas.
Mandy Patinkin will play Anthony Accardo, head of the Chicago Outfit and considered one of the most powerful crime bosses in America at the time.
Dermot Mulroney will play Sam Giancana’s bodyguard Chuckie Nicoletti, ,the Chicago Outfit’s most notorious South Side hitman.
Jefferson White will play the alleged assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.
Robert Carlyle will play Jack Ruby, who killed Lee Harvey Oswald on camera.
