One show. Infinite adventures.
Season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds teases ten new adventures when season 3 premieres this summer on Paramount+, including a colourful throwback to the original 1960s U.S.S Enterprise with Paul Wesley’s James T. Kirk in the Captain’s chair.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the voyages of Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) on the U.S.S. Enterprise, which predate the voyages of Captain James T. Kirk on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
But first the Enterprise has to deal with season 2’s cliffhanger.
In the season 3 premiere, Anson Mount’s Captain Pike faces a difficult decision: With orders not to aggravate the situation on a colony outside of Federation jurisdiction, how can he rescue over 100 colonists, some of his closest crewmates and his girlfriend Captain Marie Batel (Melanie Scrofano) held captive by the human-eating lizards the Gorn.

Other Adventures:
There’s a Hollywood murder mystery directed by Star Trek royalty Jonathan Frakes, which features Paul Wesley.
