Episode three of The Last of Us season 2 takes Bella Ramsey’s Ellie and Isabela Merced’s Dina from Jackson to the outskirts of Seattle on their path to avenge Joel’s death.
After Dina shares crucial intel, Ellie prepares to petition the town council. Near Seattle, a religious group flees a war.
Directed by Peter Hoar, The Path shot most of tonight’s Seattle scenes last September after principal photography had wrapped in Vancouver.
Nine miles out of Seattle, our duo ride their horse Shimmer past a FEDRA warning sign and through abandoned, rusted cars on the overgrown highway. Bella Ramsey and Isabela Merced returned to Vancouver for this shoot at the University of British Columbia campus, on a closed section of West 16th Avenue.

The highway comes to an abrupt end with a vista of “pretty” Seattle in the show, rendered as beautifully as that of the video game.
No one’s shooting at us. Guess there aren’t that many Wolves — Dina.

The Seraphites aka Scars outside of Seattle:
The Last of Us also shot our introduction to the mysterious group of religious survivors, the Seraphites aka “Scars”, last September on trails at the UBC campus and in Stanley Park.
Ellie and Dina later find the aftermath of their massacre seemingly at the hands of Abby’s group the WLF.

But as we see, the WLF (Washington Liberation Front) aka Wolves are much, much bigger than the small group that Ellie and Dina are expecting.
The Last of Us shot the sequence of WLF tanks rolling and soldiers marching down an overgrown street near Seattle Center last September on an often-filmed block of downtown Vancouver (1000 block West Hastings Street ).
The WLF ready to roll.
