The long-awaited sequel The Old Guard 2 , starring Charlize Theron as the immortal warrior Andromache of Scythia aka Andy, premieres July 2nd on Netflix.

Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors are back, with a renewed sense of purpose in their mission to protect the world. With Booker (Matthias Schoenaerts) still in exile after his betrayal, and Quynh (Veronica Ngô) out for revenge after escaping her underwater prison, Andy grapples with her newfound mortality as a mysterious threat emerges that could jeopardize everything she’s worked towards for thousands of years.
Andy, Nile (KiKi Layne), Joe (Marwan Kenzari), Nicky (Luca Marinelli) and James Copley (Chiwetel Ejiofor) enlist the help of Tuah (Henry Golding), an old friend who may provide the key to unlocking the mystery behind immortal existence.
Henry Golding and Uma Thurman joined the sequel as the two key new players in the Old Guard universe, Charlize Theron told Tudum.
There are no details about Uma Thurman’s character yet but fans spotted the actor in Vancouver for some additional photography.

We knew the sequel to the 2020 hit was finally on its way after The Old Guard 2 did some additional photography in Vancouver last October, , two years after principal photography wrapped in Rome.

What’s The Old Guard 2 about?
Andy (Charlize Theron) and her team of immortal warriors continue their mission to protect humanity. This time, they have to face off against a formidable new foe who threatens the very fabric of the Old Guard, while also dealing with the return of an immortal who was thought to be long lost.

Charlize Theron is Andromache of Scythia, aka Andy; Kik Layne is Nice; Marwan Kenzari and Luca Marinell, are star-crossed lovers Joe and Nicky and Matthias Schoenaerts is the loyalty-challenged Booker. Chiwetel Ejiofo is the undying crew’s handler Copley. Veronica Ngô has a bigger role as Andy’s ex-teammate Quynh. Henry Golding is Tuah, an enigmatic figure who has been researching the immortals, and Uma Thurman’s role is still undisclosed.
