It’s the Wild Cards season 2 finale in Canada of the Vancouver crime caper starring Vanessa Morgan as con-woman Max Mitchell and Giacomo Gianniotti as cop Cole Ellis.
Each season 2 episode is inspired by a popular movie or show like Fast & Furious in the season opener.

Wild Cards is co-produced by Canada’s CBC Television network and America’s The CW network.
The CW, which is about a month behind the CBC, has created movie-style posters for eight season 2 episodes so far.

2×01 – Con in 60 Seconds
Begrudgingly, Ellis comes to terms with Max’s betrayal knowing she risked it all to share info about his brother’s killer. Now assigned to a new case, they dive into a high-speed street racing ring.
2×02 – Once a Con a Time in the West
Max and Ellis saddle up for a wild west adventure as they track down the attempted murderer of a ranch family’s stud horse and uncover a dark family secret.
2×03 – The Lorne Identity
A paranoid biomedical engineer with a case of amnesia comes to Ellis for help leading the team down a trail of conspiracies, corruption and secret codes.
2×04 – Dial ‘A’ for Alibi
Stuck at home with a sprained ankle and a pair of binoculars, Max is convinced she has witnessed a murder while snooping on the condo across the street.
2×05 – Catch Me if You Con
Max’s childhood bestie visits, pulling her into her old con ways. While Ellis investigates the murder of a former tennis pro, the BFFs go undercover to find the killer.
2×06 – Seance and Sensibility
Max and Ellis investigate a mysterious murder among an eccentric family where everyone is a suspect with riches on the line. Max adopts a psychic persona and holds a seance to summon the true killer.
2×07 – The Big Bang Theory
When Chief Li and Max are trapped in the police station, Ellis has to find a way to get them out safely without letting emotion cloud his judgement.
2×08 – Death by Design
When the head of a popular streetwear clothing brand is found dead, Max and Ellis find themselves investigating a murder within the world of haute couture, fashion models and overworked assistants.
2×09 – Barking Bad
A murdered dog show judge leads Max and Ellis to a traveling dog competition to sniff out the killer. Ellis and his cat Marc move in temporarily with Max and Ricky while Ellis’ boat is under repair.
2×10 – Our Lip (Fillers) Are Sealed
Max and Ellis go undercover, joining the cast and crew of a reality show to find out who murdered its star. In a world of scandal, deceit and lip-filler parties, every cast member is under suspicion.
2×11 – Bride and Doom
Max and Ellis are pulled into the undercover world of espionage and counterintelligence when a bride becomes the target of an unusual murder attempt on her wedding day.
2×12 – Clouds in My Eyes
Ellis gets new information that leads him to a jazz club and possibly the person responsible for Daniel’s death. Max poses as a singer at the club to gather intel. George goes before the parole board.
2×13 – Sunrise Sunset
Ellis makes a shocking discovery about the criminal kingpin responsible for Daniel’s death, and who is protecting him. Max, George and Ricky try to solve the cryptic clues hidden in Ashford’s office.
Production on season 2 of the “blue-sky” series began in last September and wrapped last December in Vancouver.
