Production of Peacemaker season 2 moved from Vancouver to Atlanta where the show’s creator James Gunn directed his new Superman moviemat the same time last summer.
Season 2 follows Christopher “Chris” Smith, aka Peacemaker, the vigilante Super Hero as he struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost.
In the season 2 teaser, Peacemaker auditions for a place in the new Justice League, getting mocked by DC’s new Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion), new Hawkgirl (Isabela Merced) and Maxwell Lord (Sean Gunn).

Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo; Jennifer Holland as Emilia Harcourt; ,Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/the Vigilante and Robert Patrick. as Peacemaker’s father return.
Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows are season 2 additions.
Peacemaker season one:
When Peacemaker launched in early 2022, it was a sensation right from the start, with fans copying the opening credits dance on TikTok and other social media platforms. Alan Tudyk’s wife Charissa Barton did the choreography.
Season one filmed in greater Vancouver from mid-January to mid-July in 2021, where Peacemaker spent more than $1.2 million on local businesses in Surrey including set construction, logistics and feeding the crew.
