The Last of Us goes inside the stunts of season 2 with a tribute to legendary BC horse wrangler Danny Virtue and his ranch of acclaimed horse performers out in Mission.
The first thing I do with these actors is teach them how to ride. If you can’t ride you’re a good actor. Get the posture. Get the feel. Let’s just get up here and feel comfortable — Danny Virtue.
Shimmer in Nanaimo.
Danny Virtue’s ranch had two horses on set in Nanaimo to play Shimmer, both very well-trained and able to perform for hours without a break.
Shimmer became a local attraction at lunch at her horse trailer on Bastion Street.
The last time we saw Shimmer she was chilling in a music store.
