As geopolitical tensions rise toward crisis point, a heroic US Navy Commander (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) becomes involved with the enigmatic Secretary of Defense (Richard Maddien), only to learn he may be at the center of a dangerous conspiracy.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, best known for her roles in The Morning Show, Loki and Surface (which shot season one in Vancouver), will play Commander Katherine Decker, second-in-command on the nuclear submarine USS Kansas.
Richard Madden, best known for his roles in Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, Eternals and Citadel, will play the tech savvy Secretary of Defence Webb Preston.
The series comes from the brilliant mind of Jed Mercurio , the creator of such hit Brit thrillers as Line of Duty, Bodyguard (which starred Richard Madden) and Bodies.
