
Simon Barry’s new genre series Bet, starring Miku Martineau as a teen gambler, has been renewed for season 2 of production in Toronto.
A transfer student from Japan disrupts a boarding school’s power structure with her gambling skills.
Adapted from the Japanese manga Kakegurui, Bet follows teen gambler Yumeko (Miku Martineau), who transfers to elite boarding school St. Dominic’s, where underground gambling decides who gets to climb the social ladder.
