BC’s Pitt Meadows Golf Club Staged PGA Tournament for STICK’s 2-Part Finale

Apple TV+’s golf comedy Stick, starring Owen Wilson, staged a PGA tournament at BC’s Pitt Meadows Golf Club for the two-part finale

Pitt Meadows Golf Club.

What’s Stick about?

Pryce Cahill (Owen Wilson) was headed for golf greatness when an on-course meltdown derailed his career. Now struggling to stay afloat, he goes all in to mentor Santi (Peter Dager) — a teenage phenom with immense potential — and maybe save himself.

The Pitt Meadows Golf Club closed its facility for ten days last summer for the filming of the fictional ReadySafe Invitational.

Crew built the ReadySafe Invitational grand stands and there were about 1,000 backgrounders on the course supposedly at the Woody Crest Golf Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill and Peter Dager as Santi Wheeler.

With real pro golfers like Wyndham Clark, Max Homa and Collin Morikawa on set.

Pryce Cahill’s nemesis Clark Ross, played by Timothy Oliphant, hosts the ReadySafe Invitational. He is Pryce’s former playing partner and responsible for Pryce’s course meltdown 20 years ago.

Other characters:

Marc Maron plays Mitts, Pryce’s best friend and former caddy.

Mariana Treviño plays Elena, mother of the golf phenom.

Lilli Kay plays Zero, a Gen-Z social justice warrior who joins Pryce on the road as he shepherds the young golf phenom.

Judy Greer plays Pryce Cahill’s ex-wife.
