
Lionsgate’s Karoshi, a big budget corporate thriller with a samurai twist, has been spotted filming regularly on its “Tea House” set with a fake Japanese cherry tree at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC.
SFU students are on the lookout for the movie’s stars — Teo Yoo (The Recruit), Takehiro Hira (Shogun), Isabel May (1883), Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).

Karoshi:
A corporate action thriller, with a samurai twist. The story is set in a Japanese-influenced New York City and features a revenge twist. In Japanese, “karoshi” refers to an unexplained sudden death related to overwork.
