Cameras roll on Netflix’s naval thriller Trinity, starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw as a naval officer and Richard Madden as Secretary of Defence, in Vancouver.
As geopolitical tensions rise toward crisis point, a heroic US Navy Commander (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) becomes involved with the enigmatic Secretary of Defense (Richard Maddien), only to learn he may be at the center of a dangerous conspiracy.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, best known for her roles in The Morning Show, Loki and Surface (which shot season one in Vancouver), plays Commander Katherine Decker, second-in-command on the nuclear submarine USS Kansas.
Richard Madden, best known for his roles in Game of Thrones, Bodyguard, Eternals and Citadel, plays the tech savvy Secretary of Defence Webb Preston.
Marcia Gay Harden has joined the series as Margaret Vandenburg, the CEO and matriarch of her family’s business empire, guiding them to become a prominent family with political ties.
JD Pardo has joined the series as Tom Reyes, a Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy.
Trinity comes from the brilliant mind of Jed Mercurio , the creator of such hit Brit thrillers as Line of Duty, Bodyguard (which starred Richard Madden) and Bodies.
