
Robert Carlyle returns to Vancouver to play Sherlock Holmes on season 2 of the hit CBS medical mystery Watson, starring Morris Chestnut as John Watson.
Robert Carlyle is best known in Vancouver for his iconic Rumplestiltskin on Once Upon a Time, which shot seven seasons in B.C.

What’s Watson about?
John Watson (Morris Chestnut) witnessed his friend and partner Sherlock Holmes seemingly fall to his death during a face-off with the villain James Moriarty (Randall Park) at Reichenbach Falls.

After Holmes’s presumed death, Watson resumed his medical career in Pittsburgh as the head of the Holmes Clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders. But throughout season one, Moriarty secretly insinuated his way into Watson’s life, forcing members of his team to act as his spies and orchestrating a plot to kill one of the doctors at the Holmes Clinic.
Season one ended with the death of Moriarty from the disorder he’d unleashed on the Holmes Clinic..

Now there’s another unexpected twist. Sherlock Holmes (Robert Carlyle) resurfaces in season 2, forcing Watson to confront a buried secret from his past — one that lies hidden within his own body.

Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, head of a Pittsburgh clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders.
Eve Harlow as Dr. Ingrid Derian, who acted as a spy for Moriarty because he had the means to expose her as her father’s killer. She betrayed Watson and the team by bringing a disorder into the clinic but confessed in time to save her colleague Dr. Stephen Croft and helped Watson end Moriarty.
