The first movie in Hallmark’s three-part time-travel romance Providence Falls , starring Katie Stevens, Lachlan Quarmby and Evan Roderic, premieres tonight.
A thief (Lachlan Quarmby) is transported from 1844 Ireland to the present day to correct the timeline by helping a modern reincarnation of his lost love (Katie Stevens) fall for the man (Evan Roderick) she was originally destined to marry.
Providence Falls is adapted from Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets’s popular trilogy of novels: Chance of a Lifetime, An Impossible Promise and Thief of Fate.
The trilogy starts in 1844 Ireland, when Liam O’Conner (Lachlan Quarmby), a rogue and a thief, falls in love with Cora McLeod (Katie Stevens), a fiery but sheltered aristocrat’s daughter, who is promised in marriage to a man she barely knows.
Providence Falls: Chance of a Lifetime premieres August 2nd..
In the first part,,Cora (Katie Stevens) is a police detective in Providence Falls, Oregon, who is partnered with Liam (Lachlan Quarmby) on her first case. Cora has an instant connection with Liam, but he’s the only one who has memories of their past together.
Providence Falls: An Impossible Promise airs August 9th.
In the second part, Cora and Liam must solve a murder. Meanwhile, despite Liam’s hidden love for Cora, he pushes her toward DA Finn Walsh (Evan Roderick), her fated match, in order to change their destinies.
Providence Falls: Thief of Fate airs August 16th.
In the third part, Cora and Liam inch closer to solving their murder case and rebel against the angels. In the third and final installment, they decide to take fate into their own hands.
