
Hollywood icon Robert Redford has died at the age of 89
The acclaimed actor/director and Sundance Film Festival founder, starred in now-classics like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Way We Were and All the President’s Men and won an Oscar for directing Ordinary People.
Fourteen years ago, the then-75-year-old brought The Company You Keep to Vancouver. directing and starring in the political thriller. Passersby stopped and stared at Hollywood’s forever “golden boy” doing a scene outside the Vancouver Art Gallery.
