The CW has picked up season 3 of popular Vancouver crime caper Wild Cards, starring Vanessa Morgan and Giacomo Gianniotit, to premiere January 26th on the American network.
Season 3 picks up one month after the season 2 finale with con woman Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan) working as an official police consultant.
Her partner by-the-book detective Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) is still on leave during the official investigation into his brother Daniel’s murder and Police Commissioner Russo’s complicity but Ellis soon returns to the force after being cleared of all charges.
And we meet Max’s long-lost mother, Vivienne (Tamara Taylor), who Max believed was dead. Over the course of the season, Max must navigate her complicated relationship with Vivienne while simultaneously growing closer to Ellis.
Seasons 3 and 4 are shooting back to back in Vancouver.
