Twenty-four out of forty new Christmas movies in Hallmark’s annual Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas, filmed in or are about to be filmed in Vancouver.
The Countdown starts October 23rd on its channels.
Chateau Christmas was one of the first in production, shooting at Chateau Whistler in July.
Regular Hallmark stars like Candace Cameron Bure aka the Queen of Christmas, Lacey Chabert, Nikki DeLoach, Ashley Greene, Alison Sweeney, Bethany Joy Lenz, Holly Robinson Peete, Danica McKellar returned to Vancouver to film one or two holiday movies.
And did the 14-day self-quarantines for cast outside of Canada.

Hallmark promised more diversity in this Countdown to Christmas and it’s starting to deliver. In The Christmas House, filming in Vancouver right now, Jonathan Bennett is one-half of a gay couple looking to adopt their first child.
And this holiday season will mark Hallmark’s first Hanukkah movie Love, Lights, Hanukkah!, starring Mia Kirshner, Ben Savage and Marilu Henner. It begins filming this October in Vancouver.

Wedding planner Jessica Perez travels to a remote town in Alaska to find a rare flower for a celebrity client and is charmed by the small town during Christmas, as well as the handsome local helping her.
