Season 4 of the wildly inventive Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will feature puppet versions of Anson Mount’s Captain Pike and his crew from Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the voyages of Captain Christopher Pike (Anson Mount) on the U.S.S. Enterprise, which predate the voyages of Captain James T. Kirk on the U.S.S. Enterprise.
Production began on season four last March and will wrap next week.

The prequel series aims to try every genre before it’s done:
Season 1 had the Enterprise crew trapped in a fairy tale.
Season 2 had a crossover with animated Star Trek: Lower Decks and the musical episode Subspace Rhapsody.
Season 3 has a Hollywood murder mystery in episode 4 directed by Star Trek veteran Jonathan Frakes and the crew going Vulcan in episode 8.
