Osgood Perkins’s Vancouver-Shot Horror Films:

It started with Longlegs in the Winter of 2023.

Longlegs told the story of Maika Monroe’s young FBI Agent hunting down Nicolas Cage’s creepy-as-hell Longlegs serial killer. The indie broke big in the summer of 2024, with almost US$130 million at the global box office on a budget of about US$10 million.

Osgood Perkins directed his adaption of the Stephen King story The Monkey, starring Theo James as adult twins who must reunite to find a way to destroy a toy monkey causing gruesome deaths around them, in the Winter of 2024.

The Monkey did well in the Spring of 2025, reaching almost US$70 million in global box office.

After Longlegs, Perkins directed Keeper, with Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, in the Fall of 2023, under the working title A Shadowless Horse.

Keeper follows a couple as they escape for a romantic anniversary weekend at a secluded cabin. When Malcolm (Rossif Sutherland) suddenly returns to the city, Liz (Tatiana Maslany) finds herself isolated and in the presence of an unspeakable evil that unveils the cabin’s horrifying secrets.

Keeper will be in theatres on November 14th.
