What’s Twisted Metal about?
Twisted Metal follows a motor-mouthed outsider (Anthony Mackie) offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief (Stephanie Beatriz), he faced savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown (Joe Senoa/Will Arnett) who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.
What happened in season 2?
John and Quiet entered the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso (Anthony Kerrigan). As they tried to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things got complicated for John when he reunited with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.
The stakes couldn’t be higher as John Doe (Anthony Mackie) and Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) risk their lives to compete in a dangerous demolition derby tournament. The prize? A single wish, their greatest hearts desire, granted. The only problem is sixteen other drivers have wishes of their own. . . It’s too bad not all of them will survive.
Who won the Twisted Metal Tournament in season 2?
John and Quiet, in separate cars, are both knocked out of the tournament by Calypso’s killer Minion. Minion grabs a missile out of the sky and tosses itt at John, throwing him out of his car.. Quiet hits Minion head-on, but has to leap from her car at the last second before it hits the wall
So the winner is Stu, the last driver remaining in a car. He gets his wish to go someplace safe — Caplyso sends Stu (and Mike’s body) to a space capsule orbiting Earth.
