Falling Skies spent today filming a mysterious young woman (Scarlett Byrne) and an alien Overlord in Kim Adamson-Sharpe’s local Surrey park. In the afternoon, crew in Tynehead Park set torches to split tree trunks to make smoke and threw sticks at them to simulate explosions while a wind machine blew Byrne’s white blonde wig and red gown.
