Update: NBC did not pick up Miranda’s Rights to series.
NBC pilot Miranda’s Rights filmed its lead Rebecca Breeds as Miranda Coale walking down the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery this morning. Miranda gets a second chance as part of a millennial start-up firm, six years after a sex scandal with a U.S. Senator derails her life.
Between takes.
Parker Sawyers, Jamie Chung, Monique Coleman, Ruffin Prentiss and Noel Fisher play partners in YLG (Young Law Group). Sawyers is Miranda’s ex-boyfriend Tanner, from before she hooked up with the Senator. John Gabriel is an ex-YLG attorney who left for money. And Gail O’Grady O’Grady is Karen Klein, head of law firm Klein & Associates.
Katie Lovejoy will write and produce the NBC pilot along with John Glenn.
Miranda’s Rights started filming on Monday, March 21st, and is expected to wrap April 10th (dates subject to change) in metro Vancouver. Production sign: GEPMR.
