Who knew that was Rosie O’Donnell in the centre of that When We Rise women’s rights rally filmed in Vancouver’s Victory Square last Spring?. ABC LGBT mini-series When We Rise staged the 1970s San Francisco rally that devolved into a riot, organized by Roma Guy (Emily Skeggs) and her wife, Diane (Fiona Dourif) co-founders of the San Francisco Women’s Building. Mary-Louise Parker and Rachel Griffiths play older versions of the couple.
