And after Marta’s daughter Natalie goes missing, Marta, her eldest son Gabriel and her youngest son Boris go searching for Natalie at the Terminal City Ironworks complex.
Sunday, March 31st – Feature film Hector & the Search for Happiness films scenes of Simon Pegg, Toni Collette & Christopher Plummer in the Life Sciences Centre at UBC with volunteer extras in lecture hall from 1 pm to 7 pm.

Saturday, March 23rd – Joel Wyman’s FOX pilot Human films an armoured vehicle heist downtown in the Business District.

Crazy-man-from-the-future Jason (Ian Tracey) introduced on Continuum at the end of the first season clearly plays a bigger role in the second one. But in the same clothes? And with the same mannerisms? Today he met with young tech genius Alec Sadler (Erik Knudsen) not Vancouver-cop-from-the-corporate-future Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols) at the Catch-122 restaurant on West Hastings Street. Maybe not so crazy?

Sunday, March 10th – Once Upon a Time 1×16 The Miller’s Daughter. Emma, Bae, Henry and the dying Rumple sail from Manhattan to Storybrooke, aka Steveston pirate ship set. Big sword fight showdown — Good vs Evil — inside Mr. Gold’s in Steveston. Who will die? #onewilldie.
Sunday, March 10th – TV movie Window Wonderland with Chyler Leigh of Grey’s Anatomy films outside Holt Renrew downtown for 3rd day in a row.
Saturday, March 9th – Arrow panel at PaleyFest with Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Susannah Thompson & executive producers. From panel: Amell cast with his shirt on! Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) is “evil Bruce Wayne”. Expect slow build to Black Canary and Speedy (Colton Haynes). Mysterious genre guest star coming. Not as much as VFX as you’d think except for the arrows — all CGIed.

Guest-starring Bailee Madison (Ginnifer Goodwin mini-me) as young Snow White; Rena Sofer as Snow White’s mother and Downton Abbey’s Lesley Nichol as servant; TVLine has my favourite sneak peek clip of the Rumple family — grandfather Rumple, father Bae, mother Emma and son Henry — walking and talking. The same Rumple family scene I photographed in Gastown as Manhattan.

Perennial Saturn Awards (sci-fi, fantasy & horror) winner Fringe gets a final hurrah this year with a nomination as Best Network Television Series and individual nominations for Joshua Jackson as Best Actor, Anna Torv as Best Actress, John Noble as Best Supporting Actor and Blair Brown and Lance Reddick as Best Guest Stars. Fringe won Best Network Television Series in 2010 and 2011 so it could go out with a three-peat. Anna Torv already has a three-peat with Best Actress on TV awards in 2009, 2010, and 2011. John Noble got the win as Best Supporting Actor on TV in 2010. And Leonard Nimoy picked up Best Guest Actor on TV in 2009.

Other filmed-in-Vancouver productions scoring nominations include Once Upon a Time, Supernatural, The Killing, Falling Skies, Arrow and Vancouver’s own Continuum.

Sunday, February 17th – Once Upon a Time 2×14 Manhattan airs on ABC/CTV with Rumple (Robert Carlyle), Henry (Jared Gilmore) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) in Gastown turned into Manhattan. And Emma chases and tackles a grey-hoodie man she thinks is Rumple’s son Bae.
Sunday, February 17th- Vancouver crime drama Motive 1×3 airs on CTV, filmed in Queen Elizabeth Theatre as cruise ship terminal.
