Today is a big day for Fringe of exterior filming in multiple locations in a downtown Vancouver area. It started on Granville Street with dozens of background 2036 Observers and citizens in 1940s garb walking back and forth along the sidewalk while downtown workers waited patiently at an exit from Canada Line for the director to say cut. Nothing could stop the parade of Granville Street buses passing through the shot though so there may be a few anachronisms. Here’s Anna Torv’s Olivia about to walk round the side of the Ministry of Science van to meet Blair Brown’s Nina Sharp in her wheelchair.
