Vancouver’s two youth series — sitcom Mr. Young with seven nominations and drama R. L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour with six nominations- competed against each other in most youth categories this weekend. Mr. Young’s three leads Brendan Meyer, Milo Shandel and Gig Morton were up against The Haunting Hour’s Enid-Raye Adams and Juan Riedinger for best performance in a youth series. Riedinger won the Leo for his performance (one of his two Leos — the other for his performance in web series Pavement). And The Haunting Hour took home the Leo for Best Youth or Children’s Program or Series.

Mr. Young did pick up a screenwriting Leo (one of its three screenwriting nominations) for The Apartment by Jennica Harper.
