SHOOT: ALMOST HUMAN Films on Vancouver Block Roof under old Birks Clock for 1×07 Simon Says

Almost Human crew set up for a spectacular shoot on the roof of the Vancouver Block on Friday night under a stopped-at -8:29-and-illuminated-blue Birks clock. The sci-fi procedural takes place in the not too distant future in 2048 when Los Angeles is ruled by crime syndicates and police outnumbered to the point they are paired with android police partners for protection. John Kennex (Star Trek’s Karl Urban) returns to duty after a life-altering injury and is paired with a more human android model Dorian (Michael Ealy) than the other “synthetics”. This odd partnership of a part-robot human and part-human robot develops into a futuristic bromance with lots of humour. Almost Human premieres over two nights next Sunday, November 17th and Monday, November 18th, on FOX and Global TV. [Update: Dorian (Michael Ealy) climbs up the clock tower to stop the killer Simon Says.]
