The Killing’s final season murder-mystery takes place in St. George’s boys military academy on the outskirts of Seattle where a cadet’s entire family is mass-murdered. Margaret O’Neal (Joan Allen) heads up the school and is expected to impede Sarah Linden (Mireille Enos) and Stephen Holder (Joel Kinnaman)’s investigation into the gruesome killings there.

Netflix released an official photo today of Margaret O’Neal (Joan Allen) inspecting the cadets outside the University of British Columbia’s CHEM Building dressed as St. George’s. Here are some candid ones of  Joan Allen and Levi Meaden on set in March.

This is Linden & Holder’s last big case but the final six episodes also wrap up loose ends and reveal long-buried secrets, Netflix says, all while the dynamic detective duo try to cover up Linden’s shooting of her serial-killer lover James Skinner.

The Killing’s final season starts streaming August 1st on Netflix.
