You could win the $5,000 cash prize and the Grand Goblin Award if you make the best 13-minutes-or-less horror flick this Thanksgiving weekend — October 10th to 13th.

Whatever your vision, your film will be shown at The Imperial Theatre on October 19th.

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Screenings of all the films.

4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Screening of top 13 films.

8 p.m. – Awards and after party.

Phrike Film Fest primary sponsor New Image College chose the name Phrike — pronounced freak-ee — from the Greek goddess of horror.

With a total of $20,000 in prizes this is a Vancouver Halloween tradition in the making.
