Supernatural had a night shoot in an alley last night. How many have there been over going-on ten seasons? But this one was special: a quadfecta with Sam (Jared Padalecki) & Dean (Jensen Ackles) & Baby (the Impala) plus Castiel (Misha Collins) in a smoke-machine-filled alley off Commercial Drive and East Hastings in Vancouver. And directed by Guy Norman Bee (in bright green down jacket), famous among CW fandoms in his own right.
The scene: a heated dialogue capped with someone pulling out a gun. Two or three other characters were on set but too far away to recognize.
Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles stayed in character between takes with their backs to the small crowd at the foot of the alley, turning around occasionally: Ackles to wave and Padalecki to blow kisses.

“Bodyguard” Clif drove stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles past fans around 11 p.m. after filming wrapped. The “boys” gave those remaining a slow rolling high-five. Now that’s a cool and secure way to reward a fandom.
P.S. Lonely Jensen is lonely no more. He had all his pals on set.

Don’t know where they’ll be next but other people find them on location and I pass it on. Usually too far out of downtown for me to spot them or their production signs.
