Digital feature The Crash Pad with Domhnall Gleeson (Star Wars: The Force Awakens/The Revenant/Harry Potter), Christine Applegate (Samantha Who?), Thomas Haden Church (Sideways) and Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries) started filming in Vancouver on Sunday. The rom-com is about a slacker (Gleeson) duped into an affair with an older woman (Applegate) who’s seeking revenge against her oblivious husband (Haden Church). Her plan backfires when the husband decides the best way to get back at his wife is to move in with her slacker-lover and adopt his debauched lifestyle. Which explains The Crash Pad filming on Wednesday at the Republic Bar on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver.
