Here’s the official trailer for legendary director Steven Spielberg’s The BFG,  a big-screen and big-budget Disney live-action adaption of Roald Dahl’s children’s classic.

In the 1982 book, the people-friendly giant (Mark Rylance) teams up with a little girl Sophie (10-year-old Brit Ruby Barnhill) and the Queen of England to capture evil, people-eating giants invading the human world.

The people-eating giants Bloodbottler (Saturday Night Live alumnus Bill Hader) and Fleshlumpeater (Jermaine Clement) are twice as big as the BFG and a threat to everyone. Can Sophie and her new BFF the BFG convince the Queen (Penelope Wilton) and her maid (Rebecca Hall) that they exist?
