Supergirl in a Vancouver winter. Supergirl is filming an exterior scene in downtown Vancouver’s Hornby Plaza this afternoon. It’s slow-going. Each take, an assistant removes Melissa Benoist’s winter coat and she freezes in her Supergirl costume for a few minutes of dialogue with Peter Gadiot as trickster Mister Mxyzptlk and then runs off camera to get her warm coat back again. Then a while later, they do it again.
Supergirl resumed filming season 2 yesterday inside the Orpheum Theatre. Today they’re down at Hornby Plaza and inside the Vancouver Club and a Japanese restaurant. Fraturday is the big overnight super hero fight and stunts on the 800-900 block West Hastings. This is episode thirteen.
