CELEBRITY: Where in Vancouver is Johnny Depp Filming RICHARD SAYS GOODBYE? All Over.

The village of Ladner had a big celebrity in its midst on Saturday. Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean’s Captain Jack) did a driving scene for his new movie Richard Says Goodbye. What’s it about? A dying college professor binges on every vice. A terminal diagnosis prompts the professor to blow up his staid life and live as freely as possible. Sarcastic, reckless and a touch mad, Richard hurls insults, smokes, drinks, has indiscriminate sex and more fun than he’s had in years.

Richard Says Goodbye released a photo of Depp in character as the professor pre-binge

Security told fans that Johnny Depp would come out when he wrapped at 1:30 a.m. but it didn’t happen.

In Kitsilano at the Bimini Public House.

In downtown Vancouver at the Blackbird Public House and the Butcher & Bullock.

Dozens of fans gathered outside the Blackbird Public House in the 900 block of  Dunsmuir Street. Tenting — black cloth which turns day into night — kept Depp out of sight but after a full day of filming he surprised fans by coming out to take photos with each and every one of them.
