Where did we leave off?
The season 10 finale, My Struggle, Part 2, bookended the season opener, My Struggle, as people across America fell ill provoking widespread panic as Scully looked for a cure.
Her alien DNA protected her but Mulder fell ill in a car on Washington D.C.’s Interstate 695 — also known as the Southeast Freeway — played by Vancouver’s Georgia Viaduct.

Scully ran to injured Mulder.
And then stared up at the light in the sky.
Alien Cliffhanger.
What to expect in season 11?
Subverting expectations EW hears that it’s Scully — not Mulder — who won’t be in the best of shape when the new season starts. And like season 10, the new season will be bookended by mythology episodes written by the series creator Chris Carter.
And Mitch Pileggi has confirmed he’ll be back as FBI assistant director Walter Skinner. Who else will be returning? Robbie Amell?
The X-Files season 11 wraps December 21st (date subject to change) in metro Vancouver.
