So Vancouver’s concrete bunker known as the Fortress is FBI Headquarters in season 11. That explains why The X-Files keeps returning to this building on the Burrard Slopes — which used to be a place where the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce counted its money with Brink’s trucks going in and out.
Today agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) were inside with producer Darin Morgan and guest star Brian Huskey. You can see the FBI Parking Only set dec in the background of the shot.
A second unit was outside doing special effects inserts in the roundabout where production shot Scully in a serious car accident.
The X-Files has a 10-episode run this time. It started filming August 8th on location at the Fortress.
