Is one of the big-name Quibi projects filming in Vancouver?
Looks like Sam Raimi’s 50 States of Fright will shoot here this Fall.
Filming dates: September 16th to November 21st.
50 States is a horror anthology inspired by folklore from each U.S. state.
Quibi (short for quick bites) is a short-form streaming service from Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman set to launch in 2020.
It already has signed up projects from stars like Jennifer Lopez, Chrissy Teigen, Idris Elba, Anna Kendrick, Naomi Watts, Tyra Banks, Seth Myers, Liam Hemsworth and producer/directors like Sam Raimi, Steven Spielberg, Guillermo del Toro, Doug Liman, Antoine Fuqua and many more.
