Adapted from the books, The Baby-Sitters Club follows the adventures of five BFFs — Kristy Thomas (Sophie Grace), Mary Anne Spier (Malia Baker), Claudia Kishi (Momona Tamada), former Manhattanite Stacey McGill (Shay Rudoph) and Dawn Schafer (Xochitl Gomez) — who launch a baby-sitting business in Stoneybrook, Connecticut.

Alicia Silverstone plays Elizabeth Thomas, the single mother of Kristy Thomas, and Mark Feuerstein is Watson Brewer, her love interest and future husband.
Based on Ann M. Martin’s best-selling book series, The Baby-Sitters Club follows the friendship and babysitting adventures of five best friends in Stoneybrook, CT, as the entrepreneurial girls maneuver the launch and success of their business while staving off competition and overcoming various growing pains along the way.
The Baby-Sitters Club filmed last summer in Vancouver.
