We have TONS of exceptionally talented multi-hyphenates across all our shows but this last week was a first — two of our fav actors handling DIRECTING and WRITING duties respectively on an upcoming episode of Supergirl. Very excited and proud of [Azie Tesfair and David Ramsey] — uber producer Greg Berlanti.

Arrow’s David Ramsey was in the Director’s Chair for Supergirl 6×12 co-written by Supergirl’s Azie Tesfai.

Supergirl cast congratulated Azie Tesfai when the news broke in February.

Tesfai kept writing between her scenes on Supergirl.

Azie Tesfai promised Kelly Olsen fans that Kelly “will get everything they want” for her on the final season. Not only in her relationship with Chyler Leigh’s Alex Danvers.

David Ramsey has a deal with uber-producer Greg Berlanti to direct episodes of and guest-star this season in all five of The CW’s Vancouver-filmed superhero shows — Legends of Tomorrow, Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash and Batwoman.

Ramsey shared an image of his set chair on March 13th.

Ramsey is also guest-starring as an undisclosed character on Legends of Tomorrow and as John Diggle on Superman & Lois, Supergirl, The Flash and Batwoman.

We last saw Ramsey’s character John Diggle leaving Star City for Metropolis after finding a bright green ring in a meteor crash site. This ties in with fan speculation that he will become a Green Lantern in the new HBO Max Green Lantern series.

Supergirl season 6A airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. after The Flash.
